Full-Day Early Learning Kindergarten Programs at DSBN

The District School Board of Niagara is pleased to offer full-day learning kindergarten programs for four and five year old students.

In our Early Learning Program, four and five year old students will develop socially and emotionally through interaction with their peers and the adults who teach and guide them. They will also develop their capacity in language and mathematics, and engage in healthy physical activities and the arts. A new curriculum, entitled Full-Day Early Learning Kindergarten Programs, based on the 2006 kindergarten program, has been developed by the Ministry of Education.

Certified teachers and registered early childhood educators will complement each others’ skill sets and create a learning environment able to adapt to the unique needs of your child.

There may be optional programs for children enrolled in the program before and after the regular school day, depending upon parental request and community need.
