Criteria

Are you considering a career in Aerospace or Advanced Manufacturing?
Are you enrolled in Aerospace Studies or an Engineering Program related to Manufacturing?

Fleet Canada Inc. is pleased to offer the Glenn Stansfield Academic Scholarship of $1000 for the 2025-2026 Academic Year for students going into or currently enrolled in an aerospace studies or advanced manufacturing related programs at a post-secondary institution (college or university) in Ontario.

• District School Board of Niagara high school students in their final year who are entering an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university
• Students currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at an accredited Canadian college or university and continuing their studies in the 2025-2026 Academic Year

Checklist

• Essay (500 – 700 words) from applicant stating their interest and career aspirations in aerospace or advanced manufacturing and why you should be the successful recipient
• A Letter of Acceptance into their chosen academic institution
• Two letters of reference from community members (teacher, professor, coach, employer, volunteer leader)
• Academic report issued by applicant’s current secondary school in the District School Board of Niagara for the 2024-2025 Academic Year (most current)
• Academic achievement of 80% or greater in current year studies

Application Submission:
• Applications may be submitted electronically to Fleet Canada Inc. to the attention of Colleen Hykoski, Senior Human Resources Manager at chykoski@fleet.ca
• Applications may be submitted by regular mail to the attention of:
Colleen Hykoski, Human Resources Department, 1011 Gilmore Road, Fort Erie, ON, L2A 5M4
• Applications must be received no later than Thursday May 30, 2025
• Incomplete applications will not be considered
Fleet Canada Inc. will review applications and the school of the successful candidate
will be advised by June 5, 2025.
Scholarships will be presented during graduation ceremonies of the successful student
at their current high school.
