For DSBN students going into grade 8 or 9 who want to get a headstart on secondary school! These programs are designed to support students as they transition from elementary to secondary school.

This dual credit program connected to Niagara College offers grade 12 students (age 16-20) an opportunity to earn up to 2 credits to complete their OSSD. Students will be enrolled in one college dual credit in Personal Wellbeing and can enroll in either grade 12 college level English or grade 12 Learning Strategies.

Students who want to earn up to 2 secondary credits through a cooperative education program. Students are recommended to have a placement arranged. There are 2 mandatory in class days July 4th and July 5th, 2022, the remaining work is delivered online. 

There is also 1 credit exploration course delivered through elearning.

Credit Recovery
Credit Recovery is a program to help students who have failed a credit. If a student has earned a grade of 36% or better, we will work with your home school to deliver curriculum to complete the credit.  This is for DSBN students only.

PSW Program Certification

A 6-credit program that gives you the skills you need to work in this high-demand career. After earning your certificate, you can work in a variety of settings such as / long-term care homes, hospitals, home care environments and more.


Session 2: Mandatory session for all Session 1 students.  You will be automatically registered for this session.
