Special Education
This past June, more than 1,200 students from 89 DSBN schools came together for the 21st annual DSBN Special Olympics. Throughout the day, students demonstrated teamwork, determination, and school spirit as they participated in events, earned ribbons, and celebrated one another's achievements.
This incredible event was made possible through the dedication and support of students, staff, volunteers, families, and community partners who helped create a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone involved.
The DSBN Special Olympics is a powerful celebration of inclusion, belonging, and achievement, demonstrating what is possible when students are supported, encouraged, and empowered to say yes to new opportunities, challenges, and experiences.
