Equity & Inclusive Education

Equity is everyone’s responsibility.

AT THE DSBN, EQUITY MATTERS

A Commitment to Belonging and Thriving

At the DSBN, we are committed to creating school communities where every student feels they belong, is supported to thrive, and is celebrated for who they are. We know that equity is more than just a goal—it’s an active and ongoing commitment to ensure every student has what they need to succeed, no matter their background, identity, or lived experience.

Our educators, administrators and support staff receive on-going training in the Ontario Human Rights Code, our Equity and Inclusive Education and Human Rights Policy. This work is grounded in the Ontario Human Rights Code, our Equity and Inclusive Education and Human Rights Policy, and our shared belief that every student has the right to learn in a space that upholds dignity, respect, and inclusion.
