Get help with questions or concerns about your child’s education.
If you have a question or concern about your child’s education, start by speaking with your child’s teacher. If you need more support, contact the school’s principal.
If your question or concern has not been addressed, our Student and Family Support Office can help. We can answer questions, provide information and support and help connect you with the appropriate school board staff or services.

The DSBN Student and Family Support Office aligns with the service standards outlined in the Ministry of Education’s PPM 170. If we cannot provide a response within five business days, we will provide an estimate of when you can expect a reply.

Submissions are triaged by the Student and Family Support Office team and assigned to the appropriate staff for a response. The person assigned aims to provide a response or an estimate of when you can expect a response, within five business days.
