Due to significant snowfall across all areas of Niagara with high winds and additional snowfall forecast to continue through the night into tomorrow's school day, for all municipalities in Niagara, all schools and offices are closed Monday, January 26, 2026.

Forecasted blowing and falling snow, as well as very cold temperatures and wind chill values will create conditions making it difficult for buses to operate safely and will pose challenges for students walking to school.

Out of an abundance of caution, and to help you prepare, we are announcing the closure tonight.

ELEMENTARY: Learning options are available for elementary students by clicking below.

SECONDARY STUDENTS:
Due to weather conditions, all Exams and Final Culminating Activities (FCAs) have been postponed by one day.

Revised Schedule:
• Exams/FCAs that were scheduled for Monday will now be written on Tuesday.
• Exams/FCAs that were scheduled for Tuesday will now be written on Wednesday.

PD Day & Semester 2:
• Thursday remains a PD Day – there is no school for secondary students.
• Friday is the first day of Semester 2 for all secondary students.
