Celebrating Students
What a fantastic week of outdoor learning across the DSBN!
Joining schools across Canada in celebrating Take Me Outside Week, more than 19,700 DSBN elementary and secondary students and educators took their learning outdoors as part of our DSBN Take Me Outside Challenge!
From studying biodiversity and solving math problems on nature trails to writing poetry under the trees and participating in team-building activities, elementary and secondary students continued their learning in engaging, hands-on ways beyond the classroom.
We also had 23 schools take on our School-Wide Challenge, committing to having every class spend at least one hour learning outdoors during the week.
Thank you to our educators and staff for making these experiences possible, and to our families for supporting outdoor learning throughout the year.
