Coding apps, either for Apple or Android devices, each have their individual style of teaching students about coding. Many focus on computational and spatial thinking, where they have a challenge that the students work through to learn the basics of coding. Depending on the age level, coding apps typically fall under 3 categories: Learning through challenge, learning through creative design, or learning code.
