Remote Learning Continues Next Week

The province has confirmed that elementary and secondary students in Niagara will NOT be returning to in-person learning on January 25. Students will continue with remote learning as they have been doing for the last several weeks.

Currently, we do not know when the province anticipates students will be coming back to in-person learning. We will keep you apprised of any information as it becomes available.

Working together for your child’s safety

DSBN’s Safe Arrival Program helps families and schools communicate to help ensure our children are safe. Whether it’s an illness, a medical appointment or another important event, parents can easily schedule and report absences using their choice of three simple channels.

Please report all absences prior to bell time.

Safe Arrival Option 1: Call toll-free before bell time to report your child’s absence

Safe Arrival Option 2: Set up an online SchoolMessenger ParentPortal account and login to schedule and report absences.

Create your account or login in here.

Safe Arrival Option 3: Download the SchoolMessenger app to your smart phone or tablet to schedule and report absences.
