DSBN Continues Overseas Collaboration with Canadian International School in Vietnam

The District School Board of Niagara is expanding its educational reach to support students beyond the Canadian shoreline. On Monday, April 4, the board officially renewed its partnership with the Canadian International School in Vietnam.

“The DSBN is extremely proud to be involved with CIS Vietnam over the past two years in providing consulting services for a high quality Ontario curriculum for students at the elementary and secondary level,” said Warren Hoshizaki, DSBN Director of Education.

Representatives from the Canadian International School and the Vietnamese Department of Education travelled to Canada to sign the partnership papers at the DSBN Education Centre in St. Catharines. DSBN Chair Kevin Maves brought greetings on behalf of the Board of Trustees and wished everyone an enjoyable visit to Niagara. Maves thanked the delegation for their partnership and said he looks forward to strengthening the relationship between the DSBN and the CIS.

Students from Laura Secord Secondary School provided musical entertainment for the ceremony.
