Physical Computing

Physical computing means interacting with real-world objects by programming them from a computer. Easy to use computer boards, attachments such as LEDs or Servos are programmed then attached to everyday objects, robots, cardboard, etc. in order to create something useful and productive that comes alive off-screen. Physical computing connects abstract and symbolic concepts to something concrete and tangible, where learners can see the direct impact of the programs they write.
