Disrupting Islamophobia: Building Inclusive Communities

The DSBN and The National Council of Canadian Muslims invite you explore what Islamophobia is and how it impacts students, families, educators and community members. It will also address the different ways bystanders can interrupt, intervene and become allies to create a more inclusive community where everyone belongs.

This session will mark the beginning of a building cultural knowledge learning series where we will be hosting community wide educational sessions that correspond with heritage months. We will begin with addressing 2-3 heritage months this year and add on each year. Each will be in partnership with a community group or agency.
