What Does This Program Offer?

EduTravel is a partnership program that allows students to travel the world and earn credits as they gain real-life experience. EduTravel tours take place during March Break or Summer Break. Tours available include visiting New York to learn about the fashion industry, taking part in Spring Training in Florida, and much more.

Who Should Take This Program?

You should take part in this program if you:

  • Are a current DSBN Secondary student
  • Are interested in one of the trips listed on the EduTravel website.

What Can I Do With This Program?

As part of the EduTravel program, you’ll be able to:

  • Travel to an exciting location
  • Learn more about your destination’s history and culture
  • Gain experience in the theme of the trip
  • Complete a credit towards your diploma

When Does It Start?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, please stay tuned for updates on the EduTravel program for Summer 2020.

Typically, EduTravel takes place over March Break or Summer Break, but many tours include Orientation and Pre-Trip Online Classes. Check your tour page for more information.

How Do I Register?

You can register on the EduTravel For Credits website.
You can also take part in an Information Night.

EduTravel tours can take you many places - learn Civics in Ottawa, learn Photography in Europe, learn Skiing in British Columbia, or Hospitality & Tourism in Orlando, among many more options.
