What Does This Program Offer?

Your diploma could be closer than you think!

The Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition PLAR gives adult students the opportunity to get their diploma quicker than they might expect. The PLAR program grants adults, who do not have their diploma, credits based on prior work, life and volunteer experience.

Meet with a member of our team and they’ll advise you on which credits you could be eligible for and which programs may be best for you.

Who Should Take This Program?

You should take this program if you:

  • At least 18 years of age on or after January 1st of the current school year (August 31st)
  • Have less than 26 credits.
  • Working towards your OSSD, Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

As part of the PLAR program, you'll be able to:

  • Get credits for your life, work and volunteer experience
