Student transportation is CANCELLED in SELECT AREAS ONLY: Fort Erie, Port Colborne, and Wainfleet.

Schools in these areas are OPEN. At this time, transportation in Niagara Falls and Welland is running.

In all other areas, transportation is running and schools are open. Please visit the NSTS website to check for possible delays and a complete list of cancelled routes as individual routes may be impacted.

All late activity buses across the DSBN will be cancelled as a precaution.

If you choose to keep your child(ren) home, please report their absence using Safe Arrival. The decision to send child(ren) to school rests with the parent.

Trustee Expenses

Trustees are officials elected to serve parents, students, taxpayers and the public school system. They are the link between communities and the school board ensuring that the District School Board of Niagara meets the diverse needs of students in their communities.

During their term in office, trustees are entitled to be reimbursed for expenses incurred while carrying out their responsibilities. Acceptable expenses include technology, educational development and conferences, office supplies, travel and business expenses.
