Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee

The Equity and Inclusion Community Advisory Committee (EICAC) is a group established by the DSBN and meets five times a year to provide guidance, support, and input on initiatives aimed at fostering equity and inclusion within our schools. The committee brings together diverse voices from families, communities, students, and educators to collaborate on strategies that create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students.

Membership for this committee is open through an application process every two years, and "lived experience" as a member of an equity-seeking group is considered a valuable asset. Applications are encouraged from individuals with diverse backgrounds to ensure broad representation and perspective.
